Bridlington
The Harbour

Bridlington has been a popular seaside attraction since its development in the Edwardian era. Bridlington was a thriving fishing community in its time and although the fishing fleet has just about disappeared the harbour, which is 900 years old, still provides a safe haven for the trawlers and small fishing boats that still remain.

This view is from the end of ‘Chicken Run Jetty’. The harbour is still a working harbour with the fishing boats bringing in their catches daily.
