The 055 has been the workhorse of the Manfrotto range for over 30 years and is still as popular as ever among both professional and amateur photographers. It is lightweight (2kg) yet very sturdy and stable and its two tier extensions combined with an extending central column provide a broad height range making it perfect for almost all applications. It can accommodate cameras ranging from small compact cameras, through to digital SLR and medium format and is easy and intuitive to use.
